CONSTRUCTION

The Skyranger is manufactured by Aeros Ltd in the Ukraine by ex-Antonov engineers to very high standards. The fuselage construction is patented and features:

• No welded tubes
• Only straight tubes are used
• No composites for structural components
• Main structure is of aircraft grade 2017 aluminium tubing. Other parts are made from stainless steel and plated mild steel

The undercarriage is massively strong and features powerful disk brakes. Designed for off the track operations it is the perfect aircraft for Australian conditions and will be at ease in the bush. It's not a surprise that the Skyranger has been used on long treks around the world. A tail dragger layout is also an option. The structure is covered with removable dacron or XCAM skins and available in a large range of colours.
